Meghalaya caves

For those who loves to explore caves, Meghalaya is the right place to choose. Some of these caves are unmapped and unexplore. Meghalaya is located in the Northeastern part of India. Meghalaya is also called the Scotland of the east for its amazing climate.

Some of the major caves in meghalaya are:
Krem Mawkyrdop or Krem Mawmluh. The main entrance is located at the bottom flanks of Lummawbah.
Kremdam: The impressive entrance of Kremdam lies at the foot of a large blind valley 1km approximately to the east of Mawsynram village.
Mawsmai cave. 6km from sohra market lies the village of Mawsmai in the direction of Bangladesh border. This cave is the only fully lighted cave. This cave is divided into two parts the old and the new. The new part is yet to be lighted.
